Rental Agreement — Sample Template

This Vehicle Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Town Rental Group LLC ("Company") and the individual identified in the reservation ("Renter") upon electronic signature during checkout.

1. Vehicle & Rental Period

The vehicle, pickup/return dates, times, and locations are as specified in the associated reservation confirmation.

2. Rates & Charges

• Daily/weekly/monthly rate as shown at time of booking
• Mileage overage fee per the vehicle's listed policy
• Security deposit, refundable pending vehicle inspection
• Applicable taxes and add-on fees selected during booking

3. Vehicle Inspection

Renter agrees to a pre-rental and post-rental inspection covering exterior/interior condition, tire condition, fuel/battery level, and mileage. Renter is responsible for damage not documented at pickup.

4. Insurance & Liability

Renter must maintain insurance coverage meeting California's minimum financial responsibility requirements, or purchase supplemental protection through the Site.

5. Prohibited Uses

See Section 5 of the Terms & Conditions.

6. Liability Waiver

Renter releases Company from liability for injury or loss arising from ordinary use of the vehicle, except where caused by Company's gross negligence.

7. Signatures

By typing your full legal name and checking the agreement boxes during checkout, you are providing a legally binding electronic signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act and California's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
